Certainly, it would be desirable to be able to bring one’s brain waves into any state like a Buddhist monk. But who has the time to meditate for hours every day or to retreat for weeks – especially since the results then fade away again in everyday life? With the PQ® Mental Fitness Bootcamp from Positive Intelligence (PQ)®, you can achieve breakthrough results in as little as six weeks. It takes just 15 minutes a day. In addition, there is a one-hour video session and a one-hour online meeting per week. After six weeks, the program concludes with individual online coaching.

Steps of the PQ® Mental Fitness Bootcamp

The PQ® Mental Fitness Bootcamp lasts six weeks. The following steps will lead you to success:

The PQ® app is, so to speak, your interactive gym or training center during the PQ® Mental Fitness Bootcamp. With it you do your exercises, watch the videos, communicate with your counterparts and your coach.

In addition, you can listen to the audiobook by Shirzad Chamine, get more information about PQ® and exchange ideas in the community.

The smartphone PQ® app can be downloaded on iOS and Android.

Training Program of PQ® Bootcamp

Week 1: Boost Your Self-Command Muscle

The first week of the PQ® Mental Fitness Bootcamp you learn innovative 10-second PQ Reps that boost your self-command. This enables you to run your brain rather than being run by your Saboteur-hijacked brain. Self-command is key to intercepting unhelpful mental habits and rewiring your brain to respond more effectively.

Week 2: Intercept the Judge Saboteur

For this entire week, you’ll intercept and weaken the most damaging Saboteur, the Judge. You discover how judging yourself, others, and circumstances is a key source of your stress and quite damaging to your performance. Most participants discover their Judge to be far more prevalent and damaging than they suspected.

Week 3: Intercept your Accomplice Saboteurs

This week you intercept and weaken the top accomplice to your Judge Saboteur, identified through the Saboteur Assessment from the following: Avoider, Controller, Hyper-Achiever, Hyper-Rational, Hyper-Vigilant, Pleaser, Restless, Stickler, Victim. 

Week 4: Shift From Saboteur to Sage

After weakening your Saboteurs, it is now time to strengthen your Sage, the counterpart to your Saboteurs. Your Sage lives in an entirely different part of your brain, generates all your positive emotions, and achieves peak performance through a calm and clear mind. 

Week 5: Boost the Sage Powers

The Sage region of the brain enables 5 primary powers. Analogous to the 3 primary colors, these 5 powers recombine to form all of the emotional intelligence competencies considered crucial to professional success. 

Week 6: Take Clear-Headed, Laser-Focused Action

In our final week of the PQ® Mental Fitness Bootcamp, you use your Sage’s Navigate and Activate powers to take clear-headed, laser-focused, decisive action.

Is the PQ® Mental Fitness Bootcamp suitable for everyone? Is it right for me?

This is the right program for you if you are

    1. committed to improving your performance and effectiveness dramatically while reducing stress,
    2. looking for a science-based and trusted system to make it stick, and
    3. willing to put in the initial effort to rewire years of mental habits that don’t serve you.

Can I participate in the PQ® Bootcamp without sufficient knowledge of English?

Unfortunately not! Although several translations of the book exist already (German, French, Portugues etc.), the weekly videos and the PQ® App are so far in English only. Without the appropriate language skills, participation is therefore not useful.

How much time does the PQ® Bootcamp Mental Fitness take? How flexible am I?

Sie verpflichten sich, einmal pro Woche ein einstündiges Video anzuschauen und insgesamt 15 Minuten pro Tag zu üben, angeleitet von der Positive Intelligence App, die exklusiv für dieses Programm entwickelt wurde. Hinzu kommen das einstündige Online-Gruppen-Meeting (1x pro Woche) und das einstündige Abschlusscoaching. Zudem ist es sehr empfehlenswert, das Buch zu lesen bzw. sich als Hörbuch anzuhören. 

Die Übungen machen Sie wann immer Sie sich zwei bis fünf Minuten Zeit einräumen können. Das kann in der U-Bahn sein, auf der Toilette oder während Sie auf einen Termin warten. Das einstündige Video schauen Sie sich ebenfalls nach eigenem Gutdünken an, jedoch innerhalb von drei Tagen nach Freigabe. Der Termin für das Gruppencoaching wird gemeinsam mit der Gruppe festgelegt, das Abschlusscoaching individuell. 

PQ Score Saboteur Assessment: Improve your Mental Fitness Bootcamp

This may sound like a lot of time. In fact, it cumulatively accounts for less than 2% of your waking time for the duration of the program. Please consider that your saboteurs are costing you far more than 2% of your time, effort, energy and productivity. Consider how much more than 2% in time and productivity this six-week investment will save you in the years to come.

Isn't it enough to just read the book?

You would never learn to ride a bike by reading a book about it. You will be asked to read the first eight chapters of the book while participating in the program. The book provides the research foundation and introduces the tools. The video session guides you through experiential exercises that help you tailor the tools to your own personality and needs. And the app coaches you to practice one tool at a time in the context of your own daily work and life challenges.

Can we participate as a whole team?

Even though the focus of the program is on individual development, team leaders often refer to this experience as the best team building experience they have ever had. Going through this program together significantly deepens trust, helps clear the air regarding recurring conflicts between team members as these are most often created by saboteurs, and gives the entire team a common framework to help each other grow, make decisions, respond to setbacks, and deal with conflicting styles and agendas.
